Pam - Hyde Park
I am a very active person - my husband and I hike and walk, I occasionally went to the gym, but somehow I wasn't doing the right combination of activities and eating habits to make me stronger and look better. In January 2009 I joined Weight Watchers and began to lose weight, but wanted more. My daughter was getting married in July and we decided to wait until after my cruise to begin BOOT CAMP. I THOUGHT I'D DIE....I couldn't believe at the end of the first session my daughter and I actually joined. Long story short...It was the best thing I have done to help me in a long time. Don't ask me how many times I joined a gym and after 2-3 weeks never went again. NOT WITH BOOT !! There is something about the workout, the people, and Sondra that keeps me coming back week after week. Since March I have missed only 3 classes - and will admit, actually felt guilty with 2 of them. I got 2-3 times a week and the results are so worth it. I am stronger, more fit, have more lung capacity...I am actually training for a 5K. Each session is hard, sweaty and leave me gasping for breath, but when it is done, I feel like I have accomplished a great feat - and I have !! I am not where I want to be, but I am a long way from where I was. The BEFORE was taken on my cruise - a week before my starting BOOT. The AFTER is in September. I stopped using the scale and have concentrated on how my clothes fit - I have gone from a TIGHT 16 to a good fit 14 (so far).
January 2009 September 2009
Bust 44" 42"
Waist 36" 32.5"
Hips 45" 42"
I still have a way to go. I'm not sure where I will finally land. I guess I know it when it gets here. Not bad for a girl who's going to be 60 in February.... Thanks Sondra.
Way to go Pam
Pam is so awsome. She works hard at the boot camp and I get impressed with her every time she comes. She puts 110% and nothing less, this goes to show its never to late to improve yourself.
